Amicus Recruit merges with SocialWork 2000
Social work recruitment companies Amicus Recruit and SocialWork 2000
have joined forces in a merger deal that creates a combined company
with a turnover in excess of £12m.
The two companies will continue to operate as separate brands within
their established markets, but are expected to benefit from the
sharing of expertise within a new group structure under the banner of
3d Recruit Ltd.
Commenting on the merger, James Brown, Managing Director said:
"We are delighted to merge with a company that shares our values and
commitment to the highest possible standards in social worker
recruitment. We both have a proven track record of safe quality
recruitment going back over 10 years. Together we feel that we can
offer an even better service to the social care sector as it faces the
challenges of the next decade. Our locums will also benefit from an
increase in the range of work and training opportunities that we can
offer them over a larger geographical area."
Amicus founder Ben Arnold will take on the role of Recruitment
Director to head up the Temporary and Permanent Recruitment operations
of the combined group. The rest of the company management structure
will remain the same and all teams will continue to operate from their
existing UK offices in Buckinghamshire, Milton Keynes and East Sussex
as well as their Australian office in Melbourne.
