Job Title – Support Worker

Location - Edenbridge

Pay - £14.71-£15.27 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 48 per week

Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to join our busy and fast growing agency. You will work closely with residential settings in Lingfield, Edenbridge and Deal supporting those with Learning disabilities, Autism and Epilepsy.

Duties

Provide personal care to patients, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and grooming.

Administer medication as prescribed and monitor patient compliance.

Assist individuals with mobility and heavy lifting as required.

Support patients with dementia care by engaging them in meaningful activities and providing emotional support.

Maintain accurate records of patient care and report any changes in condition to nursing staff.

Drive patients to appointments or social activities when necessary.

Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans tailored to individual needs.

Ensure a safe and clean environment for all patients by adhering to health and safety regulations.

Skills

• 1 year experience working in complex care and Learning disability.

• Must be a car driver and have access to their own vehicle.

• Ability to administer medication accurately and responsibly.

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.

• Capability for heavy lifting and assisting patients with mobility challenges.

• First aid certification is desirable.

• Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to help others are essential qualities for success in this role.
